DAVID ROBERT ANDERSON

David Robert Anderson is a songwriter, classically trained multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, he studied Classical piano and Classical  and Jazz guitar. David has recorded for both national and regional clients and has performed music throughout the United States that spans  the genres of rock, pop, jazz, classical, and country. 

His original music is published through Washington Street Publishing in Nashville, Tennessee and A Matter of Music in Los Angeles, California. He is recognized by the Nashville Songwriters Association International as "One To Watch". 

He is the owner/operator of Cozettas Music Studio in Gilbert, Arizona. The studio provides recording, mixing, mastering, producing, song development, and video production services. He is also actively involved as both a musician and producer at Phoenix, Arizona area studios including Clamsville, Porcupine, Tempest, Arrowhead and Vendetta.

 From December 2015 to May 2018, He was on the Adjunct Faculty at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale, Arizona, where he served as the Composer in Residence and Piano Accompanist for DancEstrella.

David currently performs with his group Contessa Blue, whose recent cover of Steely Dan's song "Black Cow" has garnered highly favorable press reviews in both the United States and in Europe He also performs as a freelance musician at venues throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
